Workshops
We have a range of art, craft and pottery workshops during the Autumn break. All of our workshops are ideal for beginners and those who wish to improve their artist skills or have a go at something creative. (Ideal for age 16+).
Mixed Media Art Workshops
Our full day art workshops explore the wonderful world of mixed media. You will work with collage, acrylics, inks, pastels and so much more. Ideal for total beginners and those who wish to explore art using a range of mediums. We provide you with all the art materials and give step by step demo and one to one guidance so you can produce your own art work to take home.

All workshops run from 10am til 3pm. We have free tea/coffee and biscuits but we will need to bring your own lunch.

Pottery Worshops
NEW!!! Our half day pottery workshops are a great introduction to hand build techniques and will allow you can create one-of-a-kind piece of pottery. You will be guided through the processes by our professional ceramicist using either the slab, coil or pinch method. Once you have created your piece, you can select from a range of glazes so we can then fire and glaze your masterpiece for you to collect a few weeks later.
The half day pottery workshops are 10am til 1pm and cost £45 per workshop - the price includes clay, 2 firings and glazing.

Craft Workshops
We are excited to have Julie Dodd, a local environmental artists, running a series of workshops working with recycled materials. Her work is inspired by patterns and shapes in nature and during her workshops she will show you how she works with books and other discarded materials to create unique pieces of art.
These workshops are full day workshops - 10am til 3pm - Costs £35 (price includes all materials, tea/coffee & biscuits - please bring your own lunch).

Tuesday 20th August - Old Book Tree Trunks
(transform a book into a tree trunk and
decorate with fungi)
Tuesday 27th August - Flowering Plants
(turn an old book into a blossoming array of flowers)
